「トレインスポッティング」の続編「T2 トレインスポッティング」の日本版予告編が、YouTubeにて公開された。
1996年に封切られた前作と同様、ダニー・ボイルが監督を務めた本作。
ユアン・マクレガー、ユエン・ブレムナー、ジョニー・リー・ミラー、ロバート・カーライルらが続投し、メインキャラクターを演じる。
このたび公開された予告編は、イギー・ポップの「Lust For Life」をバックに、マクレガー扮するレントンが全力疾走する前作の映像からスタート。
時は2017年に移り、「Facebook、Twitter、Instagram、結局みんな中毒者だ。何かに依存して生きている」というレントンの声が響く。
そして20年ぶりにスコットランドへ戻ってきたレントンが、売春やゆすりで生計を立てるシック・ボーイ、孤独に絶望しているスパッド、刑務所に服役していたベグビーと次々に再会していく。
また、キャリアウーマンになったかつての恋人ダイアンの姿も。終盤には、駅のホームにたたずむ4人が映し出される。
「T2 トレインスポッティング」は、4月8日より東京・丸の内ピカデリーほかにてロードショー。

若いころ見て何が面白いのかさっぱりわからなかった。
