BS10 スターチャンネルにて最終章が世界同時放送中の大河ファンタジードラマ『ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ』（以下『GOT』）。第一章からヌードシーンが多いことで知られ賛否両論のあった本作だが、かつてゲスト出演したイアン・マクシェーン（第六章「砕かれし者」レイ役）は同作のことを「おっぱいとドラゴンの出ている作品」と表し、カール・ドロゴ役のジェイソン・モモアは「本作での僕は、話してる時間より裸でいる時間の方が多い」と冗談を交えて話していた。そんな同作が、ヌードの多さで海外ドラマの中で何位にランキングするかを、セレブのヌードシーンをカウントしているサイト、Mr. Skinが発表している。米Entertainment Weeklyが報じた。
ヌードシーンが多い海外ドラマのランキングは以下の通り。
1位．『シェイムレス 俺たちに恥はない』（110話中236シーン）
2位．『トゥルーブラッド』（80話中137シーン）
3位．『The Girls Next Door（原題）』（91話中129シーン）
4位．『Lの世界』（70話中106シーン）
5位．『マスターズ・オブ・セックス』（46話中92シーン）
6位．『GIRLS／ガールズ』（62話中89シーン）
7位．『ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ』（67話中82シーン）
（本記事は『ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ』第七章までのネタばれを含みますのでご注意ください）
7位に終わった『GOT』では、第七章までの67話中、82カ所でヌードシーンがあり、内訳は女性のものが61シーン、男性のものはわずか21シーン。そのうち、俳優本人と人工装具利用の両方を合わせた男性の正面全裸が7シーンだった。シーズンごとの内訳では、第一章が最も多くその数19シーン。以降は第二章＆第三章がともに13シーン、第四章が少し減って9シーン、第五章で再び増えて14シーン、そして第六章で8シーン、第七章ではジョン・スノウとデナーリスの船でのベッドシーンがあったものの全シーズンのうち一番少ない6シーンにとどまるという風に、最近では減少傾向にあった。
第六章ではヌードシーン自体は少なかったものの、「焼けずの女王」であるデナーリスが炎の中に裸体で立つシーンが印象的だった。また第一章の次にヌードが多かった第五章では、最終話で描かれたサーセイ・バラシオンの"贖罪の行進"も含まれるが、行進のヌードシーンではサーセイ役のレナ・ヘディが妊娠中だったため別の俳優が代わりに起用されている。
いかがだっただろうか。1位から6位までの作品もすべてケーブル作品とはいえ、『ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ』のヌードシーンが何度か問題視されていたことを考えると、7位という数字は意外に思えるかもしれない。とはいえ、まだ数話残されているため、フィナーレまでにヌードシーンの記録を更新する可能性は残されている。
