EXILE ATSUSHIが歌唱する「Amazing Grace」が、5月21日公開予定の映画「いのちの停車場」のオフィシャルイメージソングに決定した。
「Amazing Grace」は、これまでジュディ・コリンズやエルヴィス・プレスリー、アレサ・フランクリンら名だたる歌手たちが歌い継いできた世界的に有名な賛美歌。昨年12月に公開された映画の特報映像ではAKINA(FAKY)が歌唱を担当した「Amazing Grace」が使用されており、今回の発表により1つの映画作品で異なる2人のアーティストが歌う2種類の「Amazing Grace」が使用されることが明らかになった。
EXILE ATSUSHIはこの曲の歌唱について「誰もが聴いたことのある偉大な楽曲であり、本当に自分に務まるのだろうかという想いもあったのですが、折角頂いたお話でもあるので、挑戦してみようと思いました」とコメントしている。
なおEXILE ATSUSHIが歌う「Amazing Grace」は、彼が41歳の誕生日を迎える4月30日に配信リリースされる。
