坂口憲二、無期限活動休止…国指定難病「特発性大腿骨頭壊死症」で治療専念
俳優の坂口憲二（４２）が３１日、国指定の難病「特発性大腿骨頭壊死（えし）症」のため、無期限で芸能活動を休止することを発表した。所属する芸能事務所「ケイダッシュ」も契約満了となる５月末で退社する。６年前から右股関節の痛みに悩まされ、３年前に手術も受けていた。今後は治療に専念する。
原因不明の難病に悩まされている坂口。文書で「このままでは仕事関係者の皆さまにもご迷惑をお掛けすることになり、これ以上仕事を続けていくことはできない」と苦しい胸中を明かした。
事務所関係者によると、坂口が右股関節の痛みを初めて訴えたのは、２０１２年８月の初舞台「十三人の刺客」の期間中。痛み止めの薬を飲んでしのいだが、これ以降、慢性的に痛むようになった。
初めて病院で診察を受けたのは１４年春。同３月に飲食店経営の女性と結婚していたが、このころには松葉づえを使うほど重症化していた。同７月に精密検査を受けるため一時休業して入院。それでも病名は分からず、１５年春になって「特発性大腿骨頭壊死症」と判明し手術を受けた。
股関節を構成する大腿骨頭が、血流の低下によって壊死する難病。手術後は日常生活に支障がない程度にまで痛みも減少。ナレーションやＤＨＣ「プロテインダイエット」のＣＭで仕事復帰もした。
しかし、昨年３月に同ＣＭの契約が終了した後、目立った活動はなくなり、今年１月末に事務所側に活動休止と退社の意思を伝えた。事務所関係者は「ドラマの出演依頼はあったんですが、坂口は受けなかった。体を張った役や演技をできないのが許せなかったようです」と語る。坂口は「自分の力をセーブしながら（仕事を）続けるのも困難だと考え、このたびの結論に至りました」としている。
現在は半年に１回ペースで通院し筋トレなどでリハビリ中。今後は治療に専念し「体調を戻してから、自分のできることをやっていきたい」としている。
◇特発性大腿骨頭壊死症 医療費が助成される厚生労働省の特定疾患に指定されている。患者数は約１万１０００人とされ、年２０００人ほどの患者が新規に発生しているとされる。治療法は確立されていない。壊死した後、骨がつぶれて痛み、歩行などが困難となった場合は人工関節に置換する手術などを行う。

うちのおかんは股関節両方人工関節入れてるけど
片側ずつ手術でそれぞれ１か月入院とリハビリだった記憶がある
男性でしかも体格いいとリハビリ期間は長くなりそう
あと風邪をひくと最近が入り込むとかで健康にめっちゃ気使ってるわ、下手すりゃ再手術なんだと
原因分からず、今のところ様子見してるんだけど、もしかしてこの病気の可能性
があるのかな、また病院行った方がいいかな
何件か行ってみるといいよ
難病は発見が遅れるとその間に進行していきますよ
