山下智久が主演し、大ヒット公開中の映画『劇場版 コード・ブルー−ドクターヘリ緊急救命−』の興行収入が86億円を突破した（興行通信社調べ）。
人気医療ドラマ「コード・ブルー」シリーズ初の劇場版となる本作は7月27日に公開され、全国映画動員ランキング3週連続の1位を獲得。夏休みの季節に数多くの大作が公開されるなかで今年の夏映画を制した勢いのまま、公開から7週目を迎えた9日までの観客動員数は671万人を超えた。
今年の上半期興行収入ナンバー1の作品は、人気シリーズ第22弾となる『名探偵コナン ゼロの執行人（しっこうにん）』。
興行収入は86.7億円と6年連続でシリーズ最高興収を更新中だが、『コード・ブルー』がその記録を破ることが確実視されている。現在、歴代興行収入ランキングの55位である同作が、今後どこまで順位を上げるのか期待が高まる。
今作は、救急用のドクターヘリに乗るフライトドクターたちの成長を描いた作品。2008年に放送されたドラマは3rdシーズンまで放送され、スペシャルドラマやスピンオフ作品が製作されるなど根強い人気を誇っている。（編集部・梅山富美子）
