M・ナイト・シャマラン監督作「Glass」が、邦題「ミスター・ガラス」で2019年1月18日より公開されることが決定した。

シャマランが2000年に発表した「アンブレイカブル」のその後を描く「ミスター・ガラス」には、2017年公開作「スプリット」のキャラクターも登場。米フィラデルフィアのある施設に集められた、特殊能力を持つ3人の男に関する“禁断の研究”が描かれる。

不死身の肉体を持つ男デヴィッド・ダン役でブルース・ウィリス、生涯で94回も骨折した壊れやすい体を持つ“ミスター・ガラス”役でサミュエル・L・ジャクソン、24の人格を持つケヴィン役でジェームズ・マカヴォイが出演。
そのほかアニヤ・テイラー＝ジョイ、スペンサー・トリート・クラーク、シャーレーン・ウッダード、サラ・ポールソンがキャストに名を連ねた。

YouTubeでは本作の予告編も公開中。ポールソン演じる精神科医ステイプルがデヴィッド、ケヴィン、ミスター・ガラスに「私の研究対象は自分のことを“スーパーヒーロー”だと思っている人々」と語りかけるシーンから始まる。
また、デヴィッドとケヴィンの対決場面や、ミスター・ガラスが不敵な笑みを浮かべるシーンも切り取られた。

エラくつまらん映画だったの覚えてる。これ以降この監督の作品観るの辞めた。
予測通りその後は酷い評価の作品ばかりだし。

スプリットが面白かったからアンブレイカブルつまんないの知ってたけどもう一度見直したけど、やっぱり苦痛なほどつまらんかった
