『宇宙戦艦ヤマト2202 愛の戦士たち』第七章「新星篇」冒頭9分
「宇宙戦艦ヤマト2202 愛の戦士たち」の完結編となる「宇宙戦艦ヤマト2202 愛の戦士たち 第七章『新星篇』」の冒頭9分と、「第六章『回生篇」」までのダイジェスト映像が公式サイトで公開された。冒頭映像では、クラウス・キーマンに未来の決断を迫るガトランティスのミル、ガトランティスに和平への道を提示する古代進、ミルの銃撃から身を挺して古代を守ろうとする森雪の姿が描かれている。ダイジェスト映像では、作中で使用されたさまざまなシーンがナレーションとともに流され、これまでの物語を振り返る内容となっている。
「宇宙戦艦ヤマト2202 愛の戦士たち」は、2012〜14年にかけて展開された「宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199」の続編として、1978年に公開された劇場版「さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト 愛の戦士たち」をベースに新たなヤマトの旅路を描いた。17年から全7章で劇場上映されており、最終章となる「第七章『新星篇』」では、全宇宙の運命をかけて、ヤマトがガトランティスを滅ぼす力“ゴレム”を奪取すべく、都市帝国の中枢へと突撃を決行する。
また、「新星篇」先着入場者プレゼントが、複製キャラ原画、メカ設定線画、「さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト 愛の戦士たち」キャラ・メカ設定画に決定した。3月1〜7日はデスラー、テレサ、「さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト」＜大帝ガトランティス＞、8〜14日は山本玲、キーマン、「さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト」＜古代進＆島大介＞、15〜21日は永倉志織、斉藤始、「さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト」＜森雪＞、22〜28日は古代進＆森雪、島大介、「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」（最終決戦仕様）のものがそれぞれ配布される。
「宇宙戦艦ヤマト2202 愛の戦士たち 第七章『新星篇』」は、3月1日から東京・新宿ピカデリー、シネマサンシャイン池袋ほか全国の劇場で公開。なお、2日には東京・丸の内ピカデリーで小野大輔、桑島法子、神谷浩史、鈴村健一、山寺宏一、手塚秀彰、羽原信義、福井晴敏、中村繪里子を招いた上映記念舞台挨拶の開催も決定しており、各劇場ではライブビューイングも実施される。

オーガスみたいなエンディングと俺はみた
ガンダムだけでなくヤマトにもそんなものがあるのか
売るもの増やさないとね
アンドロメダ改の糞空母じゃなくてドレッドノート級改で
２に出てた伊勢型みたいな航空戦艦見たかったぜ
ゲームに出てたアングルドデッキ版は要らん
無印で最初のヤマトで人類滅亡寸前でイスカンダルに行くのでさえ苦労してたのに
２以降じゃ唐突に宇宙の平和は俺達が守らねば！と現実見据えてない極論言い出すし
デザインの自由度下げる意味が分からん。
まあ大人の事情なんだろうが。
ヤマトよりいい宇宙戦艦が開発されてロートル艦でもういらない扱いされていた気もするけど
最後はヤマト頼りなの？
