俳優の東出昌大（32）が24日、自身が出演する『コンフィデンスマンJP』の公式ツイッター動画に登場した。
東出といえば、女優の杏（34）との間に3人の子を持ちながら、今年1月に女優の唐田えりか（22）との不倫が報じられ、世間から大きなバッシングを受けたことが記憶に新しい。
そんな中、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響で映画『コンフィデンスマンJP プリンセス編』の公開が延期となり、公式ツイッターでは出演者らがリレー形式で動画を配信。東出は「全国の子猫ちゃん、コンフィデンスマンの映画の公開を待っていてくださる皆様、こんにちは。私は普段家の中では本を読んでいますが、今作には今まで出演した多くのキャストが再度出演しています。ぜひ家にいる時は今までの作品を復習して、映画の公開を楽しみに待っていてください。劇場でお会いできる日を楽しみにしています」と呼びかけた。
この動画に対し、ファンからは「元気そうで良かった！」「おかえり！！！」「映画楽しみにしています」といった声が多く寄せられている。その一方で、ネット上からは「全国の子猫ちゃんって…。この人が言うともう気持ち悪い」「プライベートのせいで台無しになっちゃったね」「鳥肌立つほど気持ちが悪い」といった厳しい声も。
東出が発言した「子猫ちゃん」は劇中でお決まりのフレーズであり、ファンからは歓喜の声が上がったものの、やはり多くの人は不倫騒動のイメージが拭えず嫌悪感を覚えてしまったようだ。
