小説家・山内マリコの長編小説を、門脇麦主演、水原希子共演で映画化した『あのこは貴族』の初日が2021年2月26日に決定。特報とティザービジュアルが公開され、追加キャストとして高良健吾、石橋静河、山下リオらの出演が明らかになった。
『あのこは貴族』は、恋人に振られて人生の岐路に立つ箱入り娘・華子（門脇）と、仕事にやりがいを感じていない女性・美紀（水原）の人生が交差していく物語。『グッド・ストライプス』で新藤兼人賞金賞を受賞した岨手由貴子監督が、人生を見つめ直し、新たな道を切り拓いていく二人の姿を描く。
特報には、全く異なる生き方をする華子と美紀が出会う瞬間のほか、新たに発表された一部キャストの姿も。華子と美紀をつなぐことになる弁護士・幸一郎役で高良、華子の学生時代からの友人・逸子役で石橋、美紀の地元の友人・平田役で山下がそれぞれ出演。その他、華子の家族役で銀粉蝶、佐戸井けん太、篠原ゆき子、石橋けい、山中崇、幸一郎の家族役で高橋ひとみや津嘉山正種といった実力派俳優が脇を固める。
ティザービジュアルのデザインは、『ミッドサマー』『デッド・ドント・ダイ』なども担当したグラフィックデザイナーの大島依提亜と、イラストレーターの塩川いづみが描き下ろしたもの。シンプルな線を用いて、異なる階層に生きる華子と美紀の姿を捉えている。
