世界を代表する人気歌手カミラ・カベロがシンデレラを演じる実写映画『Cinderella（原題）』が、Amazon Prime Video で9月に独占配信されることが決定した。あわせて、カミラふんするシンデレラやプリンス・チャーミングを捉えた場面写真も公開された。
今回の実写版は、シンデレラの物語に現代の世界的アーティストによるポップソングやオリジナルソングを盛り込んだミュージカル作品。ヒロイン・シンデレラ（カミラ）は野心に満ちた若い女性。現在の生活では叶わない大きな夢を抱いており、魔法使いの妖精の助けを借りながら、その夢を実現させていく。
監督・脚本を務めたのは、『ピッチ・パーフェクト』シリーズの脚本家ケイ・キャノン。魔法使いの妖精はドラマ「POSE」などで知られるビリー・ポーターが演じており、プリンス・チャーミング役には『ハートビート』などの若手俳優ニコラス・ガリツィンが起用された。また、『アナと雪の女王』のエルサ役でお馴染みのイディナ・メンゼルや、『007』5代目ジェームズ・ボンド役のピアース・ブロスナンも出演している。
