嵐の櫻井翔が９日、自身がＭＣを務めるＴＢＳ系「櫻井・有吉ＴＨＥ夜会」に出演し、興収２３０億円を突破した歴史的ヒット映画「君の名は。」を見に行ったものの冒頭を見損ねてしまい、「ずっとオネエの映画だと思った」と話して笑いを誘った。
ロケの待ち時間でスタッフからテレビは見るのか尋ねられ、櫻井とともにＭＣを務める有吉弘行は「見ます。ほかにやることないんで。テレビ見る以外」と私生活の一端を明かした。
続けて、映画館には行くのか聞かれ、有吉は「シン・ゴジラが最後」と昨夏に上映された映画をあげた。櫻井は「僕も２、３年ぶりくらいに」とあまり行かないことを告げてから「君の名は。」を見に行ったことを話した。
櫻井は「頭が１５分欠けちゃったからずっとオネエの映画だと思ってて」と冒頭部分を見逃してしまったことを告白。テレビ画面には「櫻井の本性」として、「『君の名は。』を主人公の男女が入れ替わった後から観賞」と大切なシーンを見ないで鑑賞したことをイジった。
ワイプ画面の有吉は「ひどい見方だ」とツッコみ、同じくワイプの櫻井は「一番大事なところを見てないから全然、分かんない」と嘆いた。
